Episaw — Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Episaw application ("Episaw", "the app") and the ae2apps.com website, both operated by AE2apps ("we", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using Episaw, you agree to these Terms.

1. What Episaw is

Episaw is a personal watch-history tracker that connects to your own Emby or Jellyfin media server. It stores your data locally on your device. It is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Emby LLC or the Jellyfin project.

2. License to use

Episaw is proprietary software. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the app on your own devices for your personal, non-commercial use. Pro features are unlocked with a licence key tied to your purchase.

3. What you may not do

Copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or redistribute the app or its code.
Resell, sublicense, or share your Pro licence key with others.
Use the app for any unlawful purpose, or to access content you are not authorised to access.
Attempt to bypass the app's licensing or Pro-feature restrictions.

4. Your server and content

Episaw connects to a media server that you control. You are responsible for your own server, your login details, and for ensuring you have the right to access whatever content is on it. We have no access to and no responsibility for your server or its content.

5. Purchases and refunds

Episaw Pro is a one-time purchase processed by our payment provider (Lemon Squeezy), who acts as merchant of record. We offer a full refund within 10 days of purchase, no questions asked. To request one, contact us at the email below.

6. No warranty

Episaw is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will always sync perfectly with your server or third-party data sources (such as TMDB or TheTVDB).

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AE2apps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, Episaw. Because your data is stored locally on your device, you are responsible for keeping your own backups using the app's export feature.

8. Third-party services

Episaw can optionally use third-party data sources (TMDB, TheTVDB) if you provide API keys. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
